These grants offer up to £5,000 to support dance professionals to extend their dance career. Funding can be used for activities like short courses, training or other opportunities that help build your skills and increase your overall income.
Am I Eligible for a Grant?
Applicants will-
• Have completed professional dance training or have experience that reflects a
similar standard.
• Work as a dancer and/or choreographer in the UK across genres including ballet,
contemporary, Black and Asian dance, and street dance predominantly within the
subsidised dance sector for *at least five years* since completing professional training.
• Have available savings of under £16,000 (evidence will be required).
When Can I Start My Project?
Project starting dates will be released when the next grant round is published. You may not reapply until three years have passed from the date your activity finished.
