Oxana Panchenko

This autumn, we assisted with physiotherapy fees for dancer Oxana Panchenko, when earlier in the year she sustained a knee injury just two months before a fortnight of shows with Michael Clark Company.

“It came as a big shock and I panicked at what to do next. I needed to get the right help get me back to performing as soon as possible. I approached Dance Professionals Fund and the help I received from them was invaluable, quick and very understanding.”

Oxana Panchenko has been dancing professionally for 29 years, dancing with English National Ballet, Munich Ballet, City Ballet of London and Balletboyz, amongst others.

In 2002, Oxana won the Time Out Live Award for ‘Outstanding Performance’ in William Forsyth’s ‘Steptext’, and in 2003 won the ‘Outstanding Female Classical Artist Award’ at the Critic’s Circle National Dance Awards.

We are so pleased to have been able to help get Oxana back on stage, dancing.

“By giving me the financial support I needed, I was able to concentrate on my recovery without any other worries, and for this I will be forever grateful.”
